EDEXCEL Maths C3 Exam:

As you may have heard in the press there have been some queries raised over the C3 maths exam sat on Thursday 13^th June. Please be reassured that all Preston Manor students sat the correct paper.  The up-to-date statement from Edexcel can be found at:http://www.edexcel.com/i-am-a/student/Pages/C3-statement.aspx  We will be investigating any effect this may have had on our students.  If you personally would like to raise any concerns please do so in writing or email to the school for the attention of Charlotte Fine (Head of Maths) by Wednesday 19^th June.

Exam Result Dates - 2013 

GCE - Thursday 15 August 2013

GCSE - Thursday 22 August 2013

Reminder: Exam start times – Morning 8.45am / Afternoons 1.15pm

Students should arrive 15 minutes before the start of their exam.

Year 13 Study Leave Arrangements

Friday 24^th May: Year 13 Study Leave begins after the Leavers’ Assembly 2pm-4pm

During Study Leave all students are expected to attend compulsory targeted revision lessons. Teachers will be running sessions to provide vital preparation for the exams. This will be targeted to meet the needs of individual students who the teachers believe will benefit from this. Please support your child be ensuring their attendance.

School Magazine

Have you had a look at the school magazine? It’s accessible online via firefly, and the first edition contains a range of interesting and stimulating pieces on the theme of ‘The Future’. Submissions to the editorial committee are welcome for the second edition which will have the theme of ‘Equality’; any interested student should contact Ms Bardsley for further details.
