In recognition of the school's consistently high academic record, the Department for Children, Schools and Families awarded Preston Manor 'High Performing Specialist School Status' - HPSS and invited the school to apply for a third specialism.
In addition to being a Science and Mathematics Specialist College, the Lead school in a Leading Edge Partnership with Claremont, Alperton Wembley High and Wells Cathedral School in Bath, Preston Manor was awarded RAPP status in 2007. RAPP, Raising Achievement Partnership Programme, will enable the school to stay at the cutting edge of innovative teaching and learning and share its expertise and good practice with schools nationally.
