Preston Manor School has celebrated another successful year of A-level results with.

Beth Kobel, headteacher at PMS said: “It was fantastic to see so many students pleased with their results. The students have worked so hard this year and they deserve their success. OFSTED has recently acknowledged Sixth Form as one of our many strengths and it is absolutely brilliant to see the students achieving their academic goals”

One student, Deputy Head Boy Danial Farooq, of Wembley, who achieved A*s in Further Mathematics and Mathematics, and A grades in Chemistry and Physics, has been accepted into the prestigious Oxford University to study Engineering.

“I’m so excited,” the 18year-old said.  “I am speechless, my parents are so proud of me I am so excited to have the opportunity to go to Oxford University. I am so thankful to all the teachers at Preston Manor, who helped me so much”

Another student, Anubhav Lamichhane is going to study Economics at Cambridge University after his A*s in Further Mathematics and Mathematics and A grades in Economics and Physics.

Alisa Ahmed, 18, will go on to study Dentistry at Cardiff, after an A* in Biology and A grades in Chemistry and Religious Studies; “I am so happy to have achieved my goal” she said “I worked really hard this year and I’m so proud my efforts have paid off.”
