The Behaviour Panel
The Behaviour Panel is a group of students across the school from years 7 to 13 who work closely with members of staff in tackling and eliminating low level classroom behaviour that disrupts lessons i.e. constant talking. Classes that require intervention can be indentified through a student or teacher recommendation. This may be done via email or by posting a form into the BP box (found in the school reception) The panel, mainly the sixth form members, then visit the identified class and carry out surveys, individual student interventions and monitoring.
The panel also organise major anti bullying campaigns throughout the school year. This year's focus is on reducing homophobic behaviour.Since conception in 2006 the panel has been very successful in its efforts. All members are committed to the work of the panel and through their work contribute greatly to the school community.
